The NISPC Disease State Management (DSM) program ceased operations on December 31, 2008. Consequently, Certified Disease Manager (CDM) certifications will no longer be administered nor renewed by NISPC. The decision to cease operating the DSM program was based on the lack of support to maintain the DSM program.
